The defenders who helped try to do overlapping actually made the situation worse because it was the momentum for Almeria to counterattack quickly and that was proven by the counter goal that Almeria had towards the end of the first half.
The score is likely to remain a draw in this one which makes the second half match for Barcelona to continue to try better for the 3 points they are after.

Barcelona almost lost this match again because of some problems in defense.
At least 2 mistakes were punished with 2 goals scored by Almeria in this match. First when they failed in defense because of the chaos that occurred which made Almeria avenge the goal in the first half and for the second goal also the lack of good communication between the goalkeeper and the defenders made this something that Xavi had to fix for their defense problems for Sergio Roberto to be the savior with his brace in this match.
But in this match I was more interested in the performance of Luis Maximiano. The Portuguese goalkeeper's performance in this match was very good even though he conceded 3 goals but with good observation and reflexes he did actually there were several opportunities that could have been goals for Barcelona when he did not move well fortunately he was very good in this match. But it is a pity that 1 point in sight must fail even though his performance is quite impressive.
