What you should consider here if you come from a country that is blocked and you still play:
The checks often take place when (larger) amounts are to be withdrawn. It is therefore quite possible that you can play on such a platform for months without getting into trouble. However, it is only when you then decide to withdraw the BTC (or altcoins) you have earned that these checks strike ... and you most likely won't get the coins.

However, this does not only apply to gambling platforms. Exchanges such as Bitfinex have also blocked countries and only check where the users actually come from during the withdrawal. This was particularly bitter during the peak phase of ICOs in 2017 ... you simply couldn't get hold of your coins and accounts were blocked by the dozen.
