Everything looks just fine for Leverkusen. They got a very easy win against Bochum and met the expectations comfortably. Now there is a long break in the Bundesliga which means Leverkusen closed the first half of the season as the leader. I hope they keep up the good work in the remaining part of the season too.
After getting a very easy win against Bochum, Bayer Leverkusen become the first team in German football to go unbeaten in the first 25 games. I watched their impressive 4-0 win last night, showcasing excellent football with energy and precision. The team is in fantastic form, and Xabi Alonso is proving to be a great asset for the club. Perhaps it's their time to shine, at least in the first half of the season. Let's see if Bayern Munich can't disrupt their momentum, similar to what happened to Borussia Dortmund last season.
Xabi Alonso is really trying with the team, they really have to maintain their stand and continue with this unbeaten and also have avoid draw if not they will give Bayern Munich a lead, because even though Bayern Munich win their outstanding match against Union Berlin which am much confidence that Bayern Munich will win the game which will reduce the points gap to one point between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen, that is why I said they have to work harder to maintain the top, if not, any small mistake will result them to drop to second and the will find it difficult to go to the top.
It looks like Leverkusen and Xabi are not avoiding a draw but that is an option or strategy if the difficulty of beating their opponent to get at least 1 point is much better than losing without getting a point and doesn't this make more sense?
I respect your opinion but I slightly disagree with what you said regarding avoiding a draw because even though you seem very ambitious in pursuing victory, that doesn't mean you have to avoid a draw because sometimes a player gets tired in a match which really affects the club's performance.
But I really agree with your opinion about Xabi who is currently working very hard trying to provide a large point difference for Bayern Munich but the fact is that Munich is also slowly balancing the point difference so Xabi must continue to win or at least add points to not be overtaken by Bayern. Munich.
This season Bundesliga is very interesting and I am very sure that even though Dortmund is not yet stable enough, this club will soon become a challenger for the two clubs at the top of the points table.
We have seen Xabi Alonso fleet work hard in 25 matches unbeaten, a record that is very entertaining for football fans, and the way they recorded it was truly beyond everyone expectations. so it is not an exaggeration to say that Laverkusen has the potential to break Bayern Munchen dominance this season, a healthy competition in achieving their respective club targets. many hope that Xabi can create luck for Laverkusen, I mean bringing the Bundesliga trophy home to the glass cupboard.
I don't think too much about draws in two consecutive matches, because that is a very understandable thing in football. what is more important for them is not being defeated even though they only have 1 point, In order to maintain the points gap in the standings. however, in the future, to maintain a safe position at the top, it is a necessity that securing full points is an absolute requirement to achieve their dreams.
We have seen that Laverkusen is consistent in every competition they participate in, DFB Pokal, Bundesliga and European League. an interesting fact about Xabi fleet is the team balance. the busy match schedule was managed well, in this case they were lucky because they avoided the storm of player injuries, Making it easier for Xabi to rotate players. I hope their future matches can run smoothly and get 3 points. Tuchel has a headache because his club dominance is threatened this season.
