What you said about Chelsea's problems this season makes perfect sense. After losing 16 games last season, this is disappointing. With 8 losses already this season, it looks like they're stuck in a rut. Some games they really control, but I've noticed that their ending and defence arent working. Its annoying, right? Furthermore, being 10th in the league, 5 points behind 9th, makes the problem even more obvious. Having only one more goal than them? We know that Chelsea better than that. Thats too bad, because they seem to be turning into an average team. Since this is happening over and over again, Im not optimistic that they will get into the European tournament. They need to overhaul their games badly and quickly.

I'd say Chelsea's main problem isn't even defense, it's offense. It's not very clear who is supposed to score? Sterling is unstable and Jackson is a very average striker. Now it seems like the days of Azar and Drogba were in some parallel Chelsea universe.
Enzo's midfield is more or less good, Palmer is generally at a good level and if it wasn't for them, things would be very bad for Chelsea
