i don't agree fully on this idea. because i can understand if the government will say, they have other important things to allocate their funds with. like for orphans, homeless, aged persons and other important projects. gambling addiction is somewhat for me personal desire that you need to address for yourself. it is your choice why you are on this stage of addiction. and so it is just fair that you are the one who needs to find out how to get out of your terrible situation.
thus, i do understand if the government will provide funds for other pressing matters and not to this type of addiction. if you have the sheer will and determination to change for the betterment of yourself, better do it and not wait for someone else's help. because the truth is, very rare that you can find someone that will sincerely help your situation, it will be your own battle here. because in the first place, it is your own volition why you are in that situation.
You need to know that gambling addiction is not a choice, but because government regulations that legalize gambling make the level of gambling addiction increase, the government should also allocate gambling tax revenues for gambling rehabilitation and mental health services, based on internet searches and I found several countries providing rehabilitation for gambling, such as Sweden, New Zealand, Canada, Australia, and others, I appreciate the countries that provide services for gambling rehabilitation because the government not only enjoys annual taxes from gambling, but the negative impacts of gambling must also be handled with several factors for healing from gambling addiction.
I understand your explanation, personally I can recover from gambling addiction without the help of anyone, even the government, but what about other people who lose from gambling without having the money for rehabilitation, but in terms of regulations we need clarity with the government and how the government will take steps to avoid gambling addiction or reduce the level of gambling addiction.
