You are right! the only winners here are to those casino owners or bookies on which they are the ones who do be able to make money and not to those people who do make out bets.
Somewhat people or gamblers would really be that focusing that much in speaking about the potential of earnings that they could get once they do able to hit up some win. Some might be that
be able to realize things along the way but majority of gamblers will really be having that kind of mindset that they should really be making up bets more for them to have more winning.
The thing that people must avoid is on getting addicted because once you do find yourself that getting addicted then this is where huge problem would occur.

Basically I would say that gamblers are losers who put their fate in the hands of luck especially for those who come with the intention of multiplying the money they bring in. And the bottom line is that the winnings that they always expect are nothing more than a hallucination that comes out of their minds because of the encouragement of excessive expectations, which is why many gamblers have difficulty overcoming their gambling or the intention to quit this activity. Honestly, it's not just them but I admit that I have also experienced such times when in the beginning of my gambling involvement and bitter experience has been able to open my mind that all this is just a game of probability and the real victory is for those who own the casino, and if you keep overdoing it then indirectly it's like you give money for nothing to the bookie.

Excessive expectation of a win makes gamblers misunderstand the game and that's why some out-of-control actions such as chasing winnings or the desire to return everything to break even are done, but isn't that too impossible? We must understand that the bookie makes casinos to make money and not to give you winnings for free.
