I guess he cant and it seems most sites arent really that responsive due to the holidays so yeah it might even take them a while to process all those prizes. Well atleast they will forsaken their own reputation if they ended up not processing it but they should but it takes a while for them.
AFAIK it has nothing to do with holidays, because the same thing also happened with their free prediction contest since the 1st round. What I can see here is that playsherbet bitcointalk account is just representative who is working under the main sherbet team on the site but seems that the communication between them is not quick enough.
I think it would be better if this playsherbet account is handling the whole contest, not only the thread but also the prizes before the contest start or before the contest end so eveyrthing will run quicker without long delay.
Anyway, I tried to get that exact multiplier earlier today but yeah I couldnt. It was worse this time because I think I got once that goes up to around 25x out of 20 tries, all of them crashed below 10x
