Op I agree with you because education is not all about going to school, is about wetin you learn?  That's what all about, you go school but you don't know wetin carry you go or can't even defend yourself by saying this is what I learn that a very huge mistake of you going to school.
 By the way reading and writing are the most important things which has to be taken care of, for example can you imagine a university student asking his colleague for answer, he was given the answer but he asked that same person to help he/she to spell what a disgrace.
 Once again education is not about holding your qualification but knowing how to defend your result, if you can defend your result that's means you really work for it, not forging.
 I agree with the dictionary which says is only about going to school neither primary nor secondary it all useful for the journey as it continues.
   Education plays a very important role to our life's.
