Newcastle had qualified for the Champions League the previous season. So they had ample opportunity to strengthen the squad by adding star players to their squad. 2. They are a worthy opponent to other clubs because of their good and quality players, so they have the potentials of competing at the premier league stage.
3. They are rich, they can afford the money to buy better and quality players to add to the rest to compete at the premier league stage. some these are some facts that will show you that Newcastle is able to compete at the premier league stage.
