The whole team is being shouldered by just Mbappe and when he’s not up to do the biddings, they tend to suffer in the match. I think they need to let him go if he insists and build a better a strong team that would succeed even without his presence.

Champions don’t build the team around a single players rather they try to make sure the player stands out while everyone is shining and that’s what most teams like Real Madrid and Man City does.
