What do you mean by "asking for financing"? We're not asking anyone for anything.

You are offering your token to be sold, some of them will be used for operating cost, some will be used to develop the game further. If I may give another word to describe the current situation: you developed an MVP, and then opening yourself for funding, in form of token sale, in order to develop further and to cover the operating cost --and to compensate the dev team.
