These days the likes you can get in social media are considered by people as a form of currency, so if they get a lot of likes they feel as if they have done a good job, even if there is no way to use those likes on the real world, so this creates the incentive for some people to lie and try to make it seem as if they are great gamblers and fabricate evidence to prove their point, and in that case it is better to not even interact with those people and let them to deceive themselves into thinking they are great gamblers.

I trust nothing on social media and that is why I do not get my trusted news and information there as some people often do. You will see some people vouching for influencers or a certain social media figure and it baffles me a lot to how naive people can be. I know what is happening online, most are fake and it is all about the money, so if anyone is so stupid to the extent of letting himself get deceived, it is left to such as most things now are not what they see. While some will not even do it for the money but for the fun of it or respect for it, how ugly is that. This is particularly about some products, achievements and results like that of gambling, many are just lies, well-fabricated gimmicks. It is very easy in these days of computers where much of what you see is not actually what they are, even such could be generated by the sponsored company to make it real, but actually, it is not. This calls for the wisdom of everybody, they should think twice when they read or see anything online and instead do their research on the possibility of those things. And if they will try it at all in case such is the only way they can know the genuity of it, they can start little and not let what they see online encourage them to waste money in a big form.

The only one that you could only trust online is only yourself and its a good thing that you would really be always skeptical on trying out to believe on what informations and things that we do able to read up online
could be possibly not true or something not really that real. So its better that you should really be just only trusting yourself only in this regard and wont really be that someone who do really automatically be believing on whatever stories that you would really be able to read up online. Yes, it could be neither true or not but in speaking about into those situations been mentioned by OP about having that denial about their losses whcih is really thati ndeed true.
