Copenhagen had a fantastic group stage, to make it out of a group that nobody actually gave them a chance is a wonderful feat, i'm pretty sure once the group stage draw was made, 10 out of 10 people thought that Copenhagen would finish fourth, but they proved everyone wrong and did the unexpected.

Having said that, i'm afraid that their CL journey would come to an end in the RO16, i cannot see any chance of City being eliminated by Copenhagen, make no mistake that it is going to be a tough game, but the team that would come out on top would be the treble winners.

Maybe I was one of the people who thought Copenhagen would finish in 4th place, I don't mean to favor Manchester United but because Galatassaray was also more deserving of qualifying. But unfortunately it didn't go perfectly and Copenhagen proved that they deserved to progress, even to the deciding match.

We definitely know the answer in the round of 16 because the opponent is the defending champion and also a team that has always been a candidate to win the Champions League in recent years so Copenhagen's chances are very slim. On the other hand, I hope there will be a surprise against Manchester City and if Copenhagen can do that then they have succeeded in reducing the favorite candidate to win. It's impossible but again before it's all over I want to see something worth seeing.

There are lots of people speculating like you because the only big chances to escape is between Manchester United and Galatasaray, even though we shouldn't be able to conclude thats Copenhagen is playing badly in the Champions League. Because we don't yet know what their potential is and its true that Copenhagen managed to proved it to everyone who know there is no doubt that they are not a club that is easily underestimated by any club, including Manchester United and Galatasaray, because clubs that are underestimated are able to read their opponent weaknesses so they can exploited them to achieve victory.

Seeing Copenhagen able to qualify for the round of 16 through quite difficult obstacles is an impressive achievement because they are in a group between clubs that is quite difficult, but unfortunately its struggle may only reach the round of 16 because it looking like Copenhagen will have difficulty getting rid of Manchester City in the round of 16 knowing the gap the quality of players is far superior to defending champion Manchester City.
