If Everton gets the sanctions for deducting points again, then of course Everton will immediately be thrown to the bottom of the standings. Even if that happens I doubt Everton will be able to avoid the relegation zone. Because with only 7 points remaining, it will be difficult to catch up with Luton's 16 points.

I think Everton should file an appeal or a more aggressive defense so they can receive lighter sanctions. Because it would be quite sad for Everton if they had to be relegated just because they received a double points deduction.

Well that would be really sad. But Everton's minimum points deduction is 6 points based on what I read. So Everton can fight so that they are not sanctioned with a 10 point deduction again, but getting a 6 point deduction might still give them the opportunity to avoid the relegation zone.

Of course, Everton will definitely appeal against the problem that befell them. In fact, regarding the sanctions for deducting points that they received in November, it seems that Everton have already appealed the first sanction. It's just that perhaps the results have not yet come to light until now. And now Everton is facing a new problem and well this won't be easy for Everton. (Sourch)

Nottingham Forest is also facing the same problem as Everton. Namely, Nottingham also has the potential to receive the same points deduction as Everton. And if Nottingham also gets points deducted then Nottingham will also be thrown into the relegation zone. And with the inconsistency that Nottingham currently has, I also see that it will be difficult for Nottingham to avoid the relegation zone if they get points deducted.

And regarding Everton, I also hope that their appeal can result in them getting lighter sanctions. Just like Juventus in Serie A last season, which initially received a deduction of 15 points, then thanks to their appeal they finally only got a deduction of 10 points. Which means it is lighter than the initial sanctions decision. I think Everton are capable of doing the same if they appeal well.
