I had said some weeks back that Liverpool's attacking players had to step up in the absence of Mo Salah due to AFCON duties, and that is what they did today, a brace for both Jota and Nunez, and i am pretty sure the manager will be delighted, because Salah has also picked up an injury in the AFCON... The absence of Salah might be useful for Liverpool and Egypt national teams to count on themselves to score and win. Counting a lot on 1 player for victory isn't healthy and the Egyptian team wasn't impressive at all in AFCON.
By the way, Liverpool but also Arsenal had a nice restart this year with a lot of goals scored by these two against Crystal Palace (5 goals by gunners) and Bournemouth (4 goals by Liverpool) without receiving any goal
