Limiting access to devices can help someone not look at what is on their device too often and can divert their attention to other things. He will only use his device if there is a call from it or if he looks at it occasionally. He won't be triggered to scroll through his social media feed to see what other people are doing. This gives him the advantage that he can overcome his gambling addiction and will also not be dependent on his devices. He can try to increase his physical activity to keep or divert his mind from wanting to open his device. Moreover, his desire to open his device and gamble will decrease when he becomes busier with physical activity. Perhaps this needs to be tried for those who still open their devices too often so that they can see the results in the future.
Limited access to device sounds like good idea but the problem with this is that some persons have got a whole lot going on in their device so limited access to the device would means that they will not be able to do all that which they usually don on their device except for gambling because I believe that's not all that's done on their device.

This idea is good but may not be as effective as expected of it because most persons will not want such limited access to their device expect they have two or more then they can be sure to work on their device ment for work and avoid going beyond that, if at any point gambling online is posing serious issues to anyone I think it will be much better if such person will just seek for help professionally that way they will be able to tackle this addiction even in the midst of all this challenges around trying to quit gambling especially online gambling.
