Yes but there are still big questions to be answered by Girona because there is a number of examples where things went wrong despite a spectacular season against so many favorites in the league. Leicester City won the Premier League once and they could never establish themselves as one of the top clubs. Newcastle United played an amazing season last year and now they are struggling a lot despite their win against Aston Villa now. They did not invest in star players, but rather names that not a lot of people knew.
I hope that Girona will take some money and try to build their squad further. It will be hard for them to compete with Real Madrid and others, but they got some money and if they are participating in the Champions League, I think they could build some great momentum for their club.
