The coach they have currently is skillful, they may technically be lacking a little bit of player quality but I believe they can make do with what they have. Recent game outcomes haven't been so terrible or bad for them. They're staying in shape and hopefully with time and weeks going by, they'll be able to stay back at their deserved top spots. The season has a couple of games left for Roma to show it's ability. They will try to be relevant in both the Serie A and Europa League too.
The obstacle faced by the coach is of course the lack of good player options in the squad and that is perhaps what makes Mourinho unable to survive and makes it very difficult to win for Roma. But since being handled by De Rossi, currently Roma is actually looking better and maybe this is still too far from being good, but at least the negative trend can be cut.
Maintaining the team's performance will be much more difficult for De Rossi and they cannot afford to lose good moments like now by experiencing bad things. We don't know for sure what will happen in the future and I hope the club management can provide funds for spending next summer so that next season they won't be left behind again. Roma's next match will be against Cagliari and of course with De Rossi's new strategy, Roma will still be able to win whatever the conditions.
But maybe we can assume that Maurinho has decreased from his ability to expand a team, it might happen, so I don't think we can not assume continuously blame the players, because it could be the wrong coach, Roma has Dybala, Lukaku, El Sharawy and The others as a fairly complete sequad in my opinion.
In my opinion this is about us as a coach to have a chess piece to get a victory and it requires a good strategy and most importantly weth of the strategy that is effective with the power that exists and is also effective against enemies who have different strengths.
De Rossi must have been watching Rome for a long time and he is now only adapting and adjusting his players to the abilities they have so as not to continue to sink under the standings. To defeat Cagliari in my opinion is not a tough task for AS Roma, but if there is rain goals for AS Roma it will be a bright light to see Roma in the future.
