Yes, no one site can take the place of bitcointalk forum as no one will be able to gather so many users. Previously Cryptotalk forum tried to gain traffic by monetizing every post but that model failed too. This project may not seek any audience unless OP start giving a lot of incentive of being active on the forum but as soon as that incentive is finished, the traffic will be reduced again. Also, giving 1 ETH to the only 1 person getting 1000 merits Ethereum Forum - Earn 1 ETH! 🎉 - Ethereum is isn't enough to gain the traffic.
