Once again, Leverkusen proved that they are an unbeatable team this season and the 0-2 win away from home against Darmstadt meant that Leverkusen continued to maintain the point difference from Bayern Munich. Xabi Alonso seemed to never run out of ideas to win and therefore Leverkusen won convincingly. The absence of Victor Boniface did not make it difficult for them to adapt to the new rotation and Iglesias, who only arrived this winter as a second-string striker, played quite well even though he had not scored a goal in his debut match.

Leverkusen's two winning goals were scored by Tella and even though he replaced Frimpong on the right wing, the results were very satisfying. This proves that Leverkusen's depth does not only depend on a few key players and that when needed to score a goal, players in any position can do it. Next week will be a tense match and this will be one of the determinants to increase the chances of who will become Bundesliga champions this season and yes, I mean the match between Leverkusen vs Bayern Munich. Bayern Levernkusen continues undefeated with the intention of making history this season with its players. Bayern Munich is getting good results today. Both teams trying for the championship were successful and managed to get their three points. Even though Mönchengladbach scored the opening goal against Bayern Munich today, the answer came just a minute later.

Everything was better in the second half. They pressured Bayern Munich well and started to win the match by creating good positions.

I think they really deserve to be champions at the end of the season and the play style do have it's really enjoyable to watch. Bayern is a machine and I do expect them to fight until last game in order to not let Leverkusen be champions but on the same time , they will focus a lot more on UCL so that might become a huge advantage for Leverkusen , especially if Bayern has a deep run in UCL.  Grin
