In the full version the private key still goes in the actual pill capsule to be placed in the hole on the BTC logo piece. The hologram is added for the buyer to decide if they would like to cover the hole further like pictured in the standalone version. If the buyer decides to leave the hole uncovered which when fully completed it allows you to tilt the piece so the pill capsule will slide out a bit so you can show people or play with it. The hologram can instead be placed directly on the orange body for looks and further authenticity, which if that is what the buyer decides I can apply before shipping.

The standalone BTC version is shown with the hologram covering the hole because it is not enclosed within a main body and glass, leaving the pill accessible to whoever has it without tamper proof evidence if no hologram is placed. The main version is already protected by the layer of glass so it's cool to be able to slide the pill for visibility because it will not fall out fully.
