Good for you, unfortunately, not everyone has the same mindset and people often get influenced or inspired by seeing what others are doing if they are doing it efficiently thinking that they can do it the same way which barely happens because things don't work the same way for different people. You can't think that if another person is good at something, you should be good at it too, all humans are built differently with different mindsets and different approaches towards everything.

Still, some people don't understand this, and when they see that others are winning in gambling, especially streamers or influencers, they think that they can do the same and this makes them gamble and gamble recklessly by spending a lot of money and then regretting it when they lose it all because as I said, the results can't be the same for everyone.

Not only that, the culture is now being dominated by what people read on social media, so if on the past you told your friends that you were going to try to make some money while gambling they will discourage you and you will avoid making that mistake, but now influencers have a great say on the lives of millions of people, so if a person sees that their favorite streamer is a gambler and they can obtain profits with it, then they might as well try it too as they think that they may get some profits by gambling as well.

I see your point. Before there were people who would try to discourage you as gambling is not being embraced by many people, but now, influencer who are dominating the internet are the one who show you how they earn from playing, giving you an idea what are things that alluring people to make money online, they are sharing those winning streaks which mostly edited just to bring more referrals and earn that money from casino who offers ads or referrals.
