What's in it for you, if he already have some casino that he is comfortable playing with then there is nothing wrong with it.
Your friend gave you a valid reason why he doesn't want to try out other casino, you should just accept it and move on.
I could see why your friend doesn't want to try out new gambling sites or casino, specially if he have limited time and enjoy gambling it would really be a waste of time to learn all of what he mention above.
Rather than reading and understanding all of those, he just wants to sit and enjoy or start the game ASAP.

Maybe he wanted to show that the new casino he had used could be more fun and provide some interesting benefits.
But I personally would not do something like that because I also have the belief that the old casinos that we usually rely on will be much better and can provide what we want, after all they have provided the service and comfort that we usually get.
But if want to get new experience, can use new casino to try and experience firsthand how to play or bet in the new casino.
But I will repeat again that I will not recommend new casino to anyone including my friends, unless it is an old trusted and reputable casino that I often use then I will recommend it.

After all, every gambler will have casino that they have trusted for long time and always use and there is always logical reason for this, we cannot force anyone to be able to do what we do in gambling.
