Evaluate yourself especially your gambling activity, why it can change your emotion because I think your emotion is changed like 180° means that you lost something that more than you should.
If you have better limit on how much to lose, I dont think your emotion will change that much.
I cant deny that I was like you when I was still in my early gambling journey, luckily experiences teach me a lot and I can learn from it.

You need this if you feel or see that you are already exceeding from your suppose budget, most of the time, gambler who failed to re-assess themselves while playing exceed to the point that they put some yolo and when they lose instead of making the hard stop, they will find way to add more from their bankroll and will try again, that cycle will continue to repeat itself and your apettite will increase as your lust and desire has been filled by your emotions.

Make sure to have that time for yourself to visualize all the possibilities, without a good control with your emotion you'll see yourself keeps having a mood swing and it will affect not just you but more on those people that surrounds you.
