If we can do that, we can suppress our emotion not to doing anything that can make us feel bad after we realize.

If we can adjust well then yes it can be done, more on your self reflection and how to find the best adjustment that will work for your attitude towards gambling, like what I've said, re-evaluate yourself and think about that previous mistake in order for you to bring the right strategy when you think that you are ready again to play the game, though not all can do that and will just repeat the same mistake and the sure thing is it will affect his attitude and his behavior especially when the person is on the losing streak.

You are right. Your gambling emotions reflects only when you have a personal motive towards your gambling and you must have been staking above what you can afford to loose.
The Op is being overwhelmed by his winnings and his losts so, whatever outcome he gets from the gambling is being related to his emotional actions.
If only you can stake with what you can afford to loose, either your excitements or your aggressive emotions in your casual life wouldn't be associated with your gambling life talk more of involving your family out of it.

Yeah right, whatever the outcome it reflects to his atitude how he takes the result of his gambling reflects to his mood in each time he play the game, controlling your emotion is very important as it's also your key to avoid losing huge amount of money.
