What are the numbers though? I thought it's $35 million and not $55 million for a Munguia fight offer for Canelo? I don't think that Canelo will terminate his contract with PBC, it should be airtight that Canelo will have to fulfill that 3 fight that he agreed. So far he had one with Jermell Charlo. But I think Canelo will chose Jermall Charlo here less risk for him, also a American, Munguia is a Mexican and we all know that his excuse are. I don't think that they are protecting Jermall's 0, I mean he has been going a lot, mental issues 160 lbs seems pretty much a dead division for now and so they will have to force him to go to 168 lbs and fight Canelo and have that storyline of revenge or something to make the fight marketable.

It's a business for sure PBC will look for a way to make things profitable and as we know Canelo's name still valuable even he was been exposed during the attempt of moving up and snatching Bivol's belt, The value of his name still attractable for the fans and bettors, compared with Charlo as you mentioned seems that they needed to risk and offer him for the sake of good amount of money.

Bringing them together and close the deal might need a story line to make it attractive and might create good impressions for the fans and followers of these two fighters, let see what will be the next update if ever Canelo and PBC will bring this fight to reality.
