I think it is way too early to draw any conclusions yet and whether Barcelona is really on the right track. I would wait for another five games and see whether can consistently verify their performances on a high level. Barcelona winning a game 4-0 at home against a mediocre team can even happen when Barcelona isn't doing overly well, so this might not be a pivotal point for them but just a good day with a good result. They have had several good results in the last few weeks, but still. It takes a lot before you can say that Barcelona is on top of things again. They are soon going to play against Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Real Madrid. That is what counts.

I think the performance of a team in a particular match can be used to evaluate how improved they have become and winning an important match can also serve as a Moral booster to a team and I think the performance of Barcelona in that game shows somw sign of improvement even though they have not really been so good this season but winning the game to move to the second place in the league ahead of Girona can help them to also do better wheb they face Napoli at home in the champions league.
