Greed in gambling doesn't end well most of the time. It doesn't mean we can aspire for bigger wins but we must learn to know when to walk away with our wins.

You are absolutely right. I would say that activities such as gambling, trading, betting show the strengths and weaknesses of a person.
You mentioned that you need to get rid of greed, I think this is not completely possible, but it is imperative to know about your weak side (be it greed, excessive self-confidence or something else) and react to it
