We will be launching with a private PoW phase for a few hundred blocks before switching to PoS.  We will then operate our airdrop with the goal to make sure that no one entity controls more than 50% of staking. In short, we want to make sure that the community hold more tokens than the core team otherwise the DAO and blockchain will be centralised and relatively meaningless.
