Yes, they can go back but they must think about not try to get their lost money because that will difficult. They can only back to the casinos to have fun and enjoy their time without think anything, including to recovering their lost money. They don't have to chases the win or recover their losses and only enjoy their moment of playing gambling so it will give fun for them to spend their time in gambling.

If they don't listens to the advises, it will be their mistake and they will sees what will happen to them. If they regrets it, that's goods because they realizes the mistakes and wants to fix the mistakes and will not repeats the same mistakes. But if not, he will do that again without thinking if he doing it right or wrong because he just want to playing gambling. Maybe he will not see what actually happen to his lives until he falls deeper to the gambling and lose all of his money.
