I actually thought that Bekzat found a great chance to actually capitalize on that first round. But Umar Nurmagomedov handled it very well. And that was probably the only chance. When you are fighting against a beast like that, you have to take those chances. We can all see what happened after that. And congratulations to Umar for winning the fight. He kept his undefeated streak going on.

By the way, I also agree that if this was any lesser fighter, Bekzat could have capitalized on that first round and maybe secured a win.

Honestly, Jairzinho Rozenstruik looked a lot better, to be honest. His defense against wrestling was good and his jab was absolutely on point. He was snaking in his jabs one after another. And it looked like his opponent never saw it coming. He did really well and after a while, it looked like his opponent was really out of the fight. Towards the end, it looked like a mismatch, to be honest.

So I have to say that the main event of the UFC fight night was really a quality fight. Shamil tried but I really think he did not prepare for this fight as best as he could.
