Also, I agree to yahoo that your buyin seems to be high. You might want to adjust that a little bit so that everyone can join that if you want to target to gain more audience and customers first as you introduce yourself in the market and into this community.
Quite surprising to see a new site trying to have grand launching tournament with such an expensive buy-in. The owner seems to have so high confidence that he will get enough players to join the grand launching tournament. Even if there is a chance to win Cybertruck but I doubt people will be easily attracted to participate in the tournament. It is better if the owner start from small amount first especially for a launching celebration, he can try free-roll tournament with smaller prize (few hundreds dollar) or maybe GTD tournament with cheap buy-in with nice prize where the owner add some amount to the prize pool so the prize pool will not be total buy-in only.
Yeah, there's a high confidence or his metric is just quite high and expects that most people will buy in with that amount. But as we speak with the reality here, there should be a lot of realization on this for him to see if it will go well. I'd agree about having a free roll tournament since he's starting out, this will surely gather a lot of poker players that will have interest to check the platform out.
Yeah I actually missed yahoo post and I know it was probably a mistake to start with such expensive buy-in tourney. We will do some freerolls and low buy-in tourneys.
Nice, that's good to hear. Actually, there are a lot of great people here with vast experiences into launching new platforms like him for which their opinion will surely have a great value and help to your poker site.
Thanks for the feed back. We are open to suggestions and will make any changes or add features our players need. Also working on a new pointing system which increases users rakeback percentages base on their level
