This kind of situations where the dominating team will fail to dominate and win are bound to happen once in many years, a smaller team will just pick form out of nowhere and challenge for the title, sometimes they end up winning but in rare cases and sometimes they will triumph and surprise everyone just like the case with Bayern Leverkusen now. Bayern Leverkusen seems to have run away with the points and are favorites to winning the league this season. Ten points is a huge gap to come back from and despite all the goals they score they are definitely going to find it difficult to close down the gap.

I doubt if Leverkusen can continue to dominate after this season because bigger teams will come for their players and will lose a lot of key players and also they'd probably lose the brains behind their success Xabi Alonso. If that happens then they will surely go back to being the average team they used to be just has we've seen with many teams that pulled off similar stunt.
