It's still weird for me to see this good performance from Leverkusen and I'm wondering how they had this good performance when they didn't buy many players and good coaches during the summer and they even had fewer investments than many other teams but they got better results than all other teams. Even Bayern Munich with all the players they have like Harry Kane, couldn't make them stop.
Some people think Leverkusen is winning because of Xabi Alonso but that's very hard to believe that the only reason for their good performance is Xabi Alonso, that's because of the better teamwork that has.
Because you still feel weird about Bayer Leverkusen's current achievements, it is very likely that this will continue until next season, but not because of a very impressive performance but because of a drastic decline, at least that is what often happens with teams whose leagues are usually dominated by just one or two clubs champions, when there is a club that doesn't usually win, the next season there will be a very significant decline, this could be because their playing patterns are starting to be read or because the team that usually dominates makes major changes so that they emerge as a very solid team or also because they make sales players because their players are offered at fantastic prices by other elite clubs who are impressed by the performance of these players, so that dominance will belong to the club that usually does this and that club is Bayern Munich, and I wouldn't be surprised if that really happens next season, but if Bayer Leverkusen continues its positive trend it will be very good for the Bundesliga because it will be even more interesting to watch and the competition will be tighter because Bayern Munich will try to minimize mistakes so that they will continue to compete at the top of the standings until the season ends.
