AltCoin doesn't sound reputable and reliable because it is like the jungle requiring only the fittest to survive and you must be smart, vigilant and awake in the market if you must not be left heartbroken with its flexibility potnetials to lost of asset funds.

You can invest in whatever pleases you. If you think altcoins gives you heartbreak and not reliable then invest on btc which is the most reliable digital currency on earth.
I don't know what experience you have with altcoins investment but I can tell you that the best time to hold altcoins is now, sell at peak and wait for the right time. Reason why most people often get rekt by altcoins is buying at the top and holding it into the bear market.
I believe that it would be the smartest decision as well, looks like we are going to just get better at it and we should be considering that as the most important one. I believe that people are reacting to it like its the biggest deal, but its not that important to find an altcoin to make the most amount of money, I think it is quite fine to just invest into bitcoin and go with that, I think that doesn't really change much of the situation. I hope that people could change to a point where its going to be all that complicated, its a lot better and we should probably just focus on bitcoin as a single coin more than we invest into anything else. I am not saying don't look at alts, just not marry any one of them at all.
