Greed exists in every individual. it might be easy to say not to be greedy. In practice, for example, let's say you get a jackpot when you bet. did you stop then and there? definitely not, your mind will say try again, who knows, maybe you will get the jackpot again or at least you can get more than just now. that's greedy. It's difficult, but it's the main trigger for losing when gambling.

Ofcourse it is. Greed is the single reason why many gamblers turn into gambling addicts.
But I wouldn't agree with your example because if I were to win a huge jackpot, I would be so thrilled that I would take the money and exit right away.
I would chose to enjoy the money I have won rather than to try to win more money. At least not at the same time.

I congratulate you if you can get out of a problem like that. because there are still many gamblers who actually want a second jackpot by betting on the first jackpot.

Your thinking is correct and you can play wisely, so you know when to continue and when to leave the game.

that is easier said than done and which one will know their reactions if they go through the situation, that is a given
we can say we'd do something in a situation but when the situation come behave differently, there's no way to be completely sure.
