Denial steps in when the individual isn’t ready to accept the responsibility and outcome of where his/her actions has led them to. And in most cases, it’s really difficult to get an addicted person to readily admit his/her addiction problems.
When someone that’s addicted admits on having a problem, such person has unwittingly taken the first step towards quitting such habits and has hopped on the road towards getting better. You can’t get better if you don’t first acknowledge the problem as no one would readily and openly accept to being an addict.
That’s pretty much why it’s common amongst addicts. No one is ready to admit to being an addict even while being one.

Admission helps a lot or play a big role, since you are already accepting the truth regarding to your deep engagements with gambling it will develop a self-will to counter the problem, once you have that intention to cure yourself it will establish inside you that you need to stop in any how, with that kind of thinking you'll be able to help yourself either to seek it from your love ones or from someone who you can trust and you respect.

It's pretty obvious that those who can't remove or who can't escpape from this situation are those gamblers who can't admit their addiction, they pretend that they are just doing fine and they are just enjoying the game..
