Dortmund will travel to Bayern Munich next weekend in the German Bundesliga to play their very crucial league encounter knowing that they have to win that game to still retain their spot in the fourth position of of the German Bundesliga standings.
If Bayern Munich wins that match and Leipzig wins in their own game, Leipzig will overtake Borussia Dortmund and claim the fourth spot of the league table.

These are all the consequences they receive for the decisions they take every season, Dortmund is German team that is able to produce many great and talented players with above average performance.
But this prowess in producing much better players was exploited just to make money and they sold most of the players they had developed over several season, they should have been able to get lots of titles but because of different goals Dortmund is now team that is not too strong.
Even this season, being able to occupy the top 3 positions is very difficult for Dortmund and I sure that Dortmund can maintain their top 4 position because they are in competition with Leipzig who are also aiming for the top 4 position this season.

In the away match against Bayern Munich, it is clear that Dortmund will suffer crushing defeat because on paper Bayern Munich has the advantage and is the favorite.
This is also an important match for Bayern Munich to be able to get full points and maintain second position to remain runners-up this season.
