I think Girona is no longer a threat to Barcelona towards the end of the season, I mean it seems almost impossible for Barcelona to win the title even though mathematically it is still very possible. Real Madrid has an 8 point advantage over Barcelona and because Real Madrid's performance is quite consistent, the best thing for Barcelona to do is to forget about the title and focus on the Champions League ticket next season.
Girona is certainly not in a good trend at the moment, so Barcelona might be able to take advantage of that to win the match. There are no worries about how Barcelona can do as at the moment Barcelona no longer seems to be competing for the title but just doing their best to grab all the points available. But still, Barcelona will play to win instead of losing points.
To be able to finish in the top 4 and get a ticket to the Champions League next season is very possible for Barcelona, in my opinion they will be able to finish in second place in the final standings.
In terms of performance, the Barcelona team has really improved now, but for the title competition it is too late because they are already very far behind Real Madrid and for the competition for 2nd place with Girona, I don't think it will be difficult for Barceona because the Girona team's performance has really dropped now.
