Of course that's bullshit. Who is Lamine Yamal? To be honest, he's certainly not a bad footballer, but I've seen so little of him so far and someone is supposed to pay 200 million for him? That's a 100% lie, because Barca would sell him without thinking twice for 200 million. Even a Messi today wouldn't be worth that much as a newcomer at that age (assuming Messi is an unknown 16-year-old player).

Lamine Yamal is a good football player. Even if he does half of what Messi does, it would be great for him and for Barcelona. But we can't judge him definitively because of a few games of good performances. He has to show us a few seasons of good performances. However, I see Laporte's statements as natural. Every club president always praises his players and says positive things about them. It's a marketing strategy.
