That might be a decision that makes Xavi have to face a dilemma. It cannot be denied that Xavi grew up with Barcelona, so it is not surprising that Xavi feels he has a debt of gratitude to Barcelona, and coaching Barcelona may be a form of contribution and return of his gratitude to Barcelona.
I think Xavi knows very well, that he will only be able to make Barcelona even better if he gets full support (including financial support). So with Barcelona's current condition, Xavi is aware that the mission he is carrying out will be quite difficult to come true. Xavi decision to accept the offer from Barcelona was because he felt that the club really provided a service to his career while he was still active as a player. The improvement in performance experienced by Barcelona recently has made Laporta want Xavi to be at Barcelona at least until next year, but the decision must be made for the good of himself and the club.
