This team really needs new transfers for their midfield especially. Because their attackers aren't that bad actually. Vlahovic has scored one third amount of the goals in the league so far. But they can't have good level of contribution from their midfielders. Allegri needs to be given a good amount of budget to make the needed transfers this summer (if he doesn't get sacked though).

In 29 matches, 44 goals is not enough for a team that wants to be a champion, for example, Inter scored 71 goals, the difference is very significant.
