I will like to use this quote of Solomon in respond to this your topic, many things and practices are made of hidden conveanant which one don't need query the process until you know why it's made. In the law their is what they called customary law and English law customary look at the way if the people as it's not easy to overruled people way of life and culture, you may see this as imbalance situation but life it'self is not balance, I will limit my opinion with this few words.
