I have the same issue. Ever figure yours out? Only happened for 1 other coin for me.

Sorry no I couldn't figure out what is wrong. Possibly there is an error in the wallet code.

Sample borgcoin.conf

addnode=198.23.71.110

Make sure you make a new text document then save it as borgcoin.conf select all files, otherwise it will be saved as .txt
