As nutildah says, not everyone has the same opinion regarding red tagging people who buy accounts.

There could be intermediate cases, of someone for example who bought the account in 2020 (after the introduction of the merit system) and since then has been a good forum member. But that is not what usually happens. What usually happens is that someone who takes the fast track we usually find out that they have also broken the rules in other ways, like with other alts joining campaigns, sending merits to each other and things like that.

FYI, a single red tag nowadays does not prevent you from joining signature campaigns. It can make it more difficult, though.
