It is quite obvious that religion teaches us about good conducts and the best way to help one another, it also teaches unity and morality, but the truth is that we are human being with diverse minds and evil hearts, yes, religion can teach us all of this but how far can we practice them, how far do we fear what we believe on, how far do we respect our God. it might also interest you to know@op that most people go to church for the sake of formality and not because they want to go. Some even go to church because their wife and children asked them to go to church. their religion can reshape mankind but cannot reshape crime because even in the churches there are also crimes here and there, incessant killing in the society is also carried out but religious believers which invariably implies that we don't practice what we believe on. There is this saying that you can force the horse to the water but can't force the horse to drink water which shows that we Don't practice the ethics of religion. however, morality and religion are two different things, there are people who do not believe in any religion, but their hearts are pure, so religion can curb the excesses of people but can't stop them from committing crime because it lies in our heart not to commit crime.

I had a wonderful experience that is reminded me by reading your words. A person in my area participated in the local elections. Once with me in the area after finishing the afternoon religious prayer went to the market area and I also went to the market for my work. I went there and saw that man campaigning for his vote to the market people. And there too he took those people and finished the prayer again in the afternoon.

There are three types of people living in the society. Number 1, a man does something very serious about his own needs. Number 2, such people work against their own will at the persuasion of family society and friends. And number 3 is everyone is working so what if I don't what will they think, people with this attitude.
Now most people are busy showing to save their own interests. For this reason even after there are so many mosques and temples in the society unjust oppression does not go away from people. So if everyone nurtures religious values in their morals (Category 1) then maybe it will be possible to solve these problems.
