I guess that's the popular craze in the town. Kidding aside, there are gamblers who are truly like that. They are not going to stop until they don't see themselves crying with nothing.

They will not listen to anybody until they are noticing that no one is going near to them because they don't listen and they don't have anything anymore because, they've lost their entire money in gambling.

Exactly, in some cases usually a gambler, especially an addicted one, will usually only stop when they have run out of all the money they have, meaning that when they still have money or goods that they can sell then they will never stop gambling which is usually driven by feelings and goals to recover the situation, no matter how often you advise or give reasonable advice to them in the end they still won't hear it and will continue gambling until they really run out of all the money.

As we know that money is everything, or everything can be done easily when you have money, as well as in the matter of social relations with other people, people will only appreciate you when you have a lot of money or have stable finances, but when you are in a really bad situation due to the impact of gambling then it is clear that most likely other people will not want to approach you.
