Next season will be a more difficult season for Atalanta. They will play in the Champions League which is more competitive than Serie A or UEL. Atalanta needs to add several players to the depth of their squad. The current team is very good and they are the champion team because they managed to win the UEFA European League trophy. But that won't be enough for them to compete in the UCL. This reminds me of Leicester City in the 2017/2018 season when they played in the UCL. They must not sell their important players and they must look for some new players.
Next season is not going to be an easy one because we've watched how these clubs becomes interesting and going all in when it comes to major titles. Atalanta are Europa League champions and they have one main goal to ensure to reach significant phases in the UEFA Champions League next season. This club we're talking have been underrated several times but they never bend their head from accomplishing main titles, consistency matters and got them this far.
I think all teams will definitely improve for next season, especially the teams that qualify for the UCL league, of course strengthening the squad is one of the most important things to maintain consistency, so that no team will have it easy next season. Indeed, as European League champions, they will certainly try their best to face next season, especially as their coach Gasperini is still staying at Atalanta even though many other big teams are starting to look at him. With their status as Europa League champions, I am sure Atalanta will face next season with full confidence.

Yes, right. Atalanta is a team that is underestimated in the European League, but Atalanta managed to silence the leaders of the UEL standings this season with a similar score of 3-0. Liverpool, Marseille and finally Bayer Leverkusen in the final. Atalanta's attack was very effective. Hopefully Serie A clubs can compete again in European competitions next season, especially in the UCL. Next season, Italy will be allocated 5 clubs in the UCL because their clubs' coefficients are the highest in Europe this season.
