I have noticed a trend that now coaches who have ever worked with Guardiola are highly valued (Kompany - Bayern, Maresca - Chelsea), and if the first one is quite young and has not yet proven his skills with impressive results, then Maresca was able to win the Championship, which looks very earnestly. He is already discussing summer transfers with the management, for now it is reported that he wants to buy a goalkeeper and a defender.
But Kompany did not work with Guardiola as an assistant coach or any coaching staff position. He was a former player but he is not doing good as a manager therefore Bayern Munich are not thinking correctly before hiring him. He might do well at the club but it would not be because of his coaching abilities but because of the players that Bayern Munich has and the mindset of the players at the club. Bayern Munich is a big club and Kompany should not be having such privilege to manage them when he does not have a good record but Pep guardiola influence would had helped in securing that job. Every club wants Pep Guardiola management abilities and are looking for a coach with his coaching style. Chelsea has appointed a good manager, they should give him freedom to bring out the best from the young squad.
Vincent Kompany is good or bad currently we can't talk about this with things are now having big change for him as he is leading to Bayern Munich after having four years as coach at two clubs where his record is 45% and 42% which is clearly not idea for anyone who is going to lead club like Bayern Munich as we are having too many managerial changes in all top leagues this is one of the most interesting because after few big names rejected this spot now they are going with Kompany which is really shocking.
With as things are going, and we are having too many peoples around which are linked directly or indirectly to Guardiola is also interesting now how he will be manage this all it's another talk, and we will be having all in coming days but in case of success this could be huge achievement for the both sides which done this with it's clearly big gamble by the Bayern Munich.
