I am sure that the strong contenders for the Bundesliga trophy next season will not be Bayer Leverkusen with Bayern Munich, but Bayer Leverkusen with Dortmund, Leipzig or maybe another surprise team. Because I'm sure, Bayern Munich will still be in chaos because it seems like Bayern Munich chose the wrongcoach and because of that,I'm sure Bayern Munich will be out of contention for the Bundesliga title next season. With the chaos experienced by Bayern Munich,I also believe that the era of Bayern Munich in the Bandesliga is over and next, we might get several other teams who will win the Bundesliga trophy.
Until I am proven otherwise, Bayern Munich chose the wrong coach. The club is just gambling on the future of the club by appointing a relatively inexperienced coach. I have tried to uncover the criteria that Bayern used to appoint him and it is difficult to find any outstanding reason. Was it because Vincent Kompany had experience with the Bundesliga during his days in Hamburg or because he speaks German fluently. Was it because of his performance in the Championship last season? Why didn't they evaluate him with his present days with Burnley which led them to relegation?
Some pundits have argued that successful coaches like Mikel Arteta and Xabi Alonso don't have any coaching experience, but they are doing well in their clubs. So we don't have to write off Bayern Munich because, with the right players and support, the Kompany can do the extraordinary. I think Bayern Munich will still be a contender for the number one spot in the Bundesliga.
